Graham joined Bishopsgate in 2017 to establish and develop its North American Binder business. Previously he worked at various specialist Lloyd’s brokers including Arthur J Gallagher and Newman Martin and Buchan Limited. He has 25 years’ experience in the London Market and is a North American property specialist.
Peter is Managing Director of Energy and has over 25 years of experience in the industry. Before joining Bishopsgate in July 2018, he held positions at Sedgwick, JLT and Alesco Risk Management Services where he was responsible for successfully developing the Alesco brand and products in North America for all aspects of Energy Business.
Prior to joining in 2016, Paul ran the London Market broking team at Bluefin for 25 years. Paul has overall responsibility for Bishopsgate’s UK Division.
Robin joined Bishopsgate in April bringing over 35 years of energy experience to the Company. Robin started his career as a Lloyd’s broker with Bowring (Marsh), before being approached to go underwriting in 1990 as energy underwriter for syndicate 855 (AR Mountain). He joined the Methuen Agency in 1993, being appointed the active underwriter of syndicate 483 the following year. In 1999 he helped set up Newmarket Underwriting, where he was joint active underwriter, before returning to broking in 2002 with leading independent Newman Martin & Buchan where he remained until joining Bishopsgate, placing business for energy clients and brokers on a global basis
Laurie joined Bishopsgate in June 2017 as Director of International Casualty. With a career spanning 17 years all within the Lloyds and Company Market environment, Laurie started his career at Tyser’s & Co. where he cut his teeth specialising in Canadian Binding Authorities. After 5 years he moved to Heath Lambert (now Arthur J Gallagher) where he progressed onto the placement of large risk managed accounts in the Mining, Oil and Gas, Ski Hill, Caribbean Hotel Chains and Municipality areas of business. Laurie joined us from Integro where he was Team Principal managing the Canadian and Middle Eastern portfolios.
Prior to joining Bishopsgate in December 2019, Jamie spent 11 years at Aon in a number of Change and Operational roles, including 3 years as Head of Operations in Aon South Africa.
Mark joined Bishopsgate in 2018 and oversees all aspects of the company’s finances, including the development and management of budgets, preparation and review of financials and reporting to stakeholders. He brings to Bishopsgate over 15 years of financial management experience having previously held roles at The Ardonagh Group, WPP and UBM, with a focus on developing policies and procedures to improve performance and productivity.
