Bishopsgate hires Conor Geraghty to build international reach

Bishopsgate has made a key appointment with Conor Geraghty joining the leadership team as Managing Director of the newly formed International and Ireland division.

Conor will report to Bishopsgate CEO Graham Kilby, initially focusing on the Republic of Ireland and Australasia, with ambitions to build out into continental Europe through 2022 and beyond.

He joins the team following more than ten years at Miller Insurance Services LLP, where he held the position of joint Head of ProFin, managing a division of over 35 people, and was responsible for Miller’s professional and financial risks businesses in the UK and internationally, outside of North America.

In his new role, Conor will oversee a full-service wholesale division across multiple lines from casualty and professional liability to cyber and property. His appointment will see the Lloyd’s broker, which already has operations in the UK, North Ireland and the US, continue to grow its overseas business and distribution.
